Dental Procedures

  • Teeth that look and feel like your own! A dental implant is an artificial tooth (or teeth) that we place into the jaw, in order to replace a missing tooth (or teeth). Depending on your situation and the type of implant, we will create a treatment plan for the implant procedure with you. Dental implants are very natural in appearance and can last a lifetime with proper patient maintenance.
  • Restorative dental treatments are designed to improve or restore the health, function and appearance of your teeth and gums. Treatments range from options that are focused on aesthetic results to vital procedures aimed at removing infection and decay.
  • Root Canal Treatment: Also called endodontic treatment is treatment that is completed in order to try to save teeth that the nerve has been damaged by decay or trauma. The tooth is cleaned out and the nerve is replaced with special material. The root canal is then followed by a build-up and a crown. This treatment can most often be done in one appointment.
  • Air Abrasion: Painless & drilless preparation for small cavities (also called microabrasion) is a microscopic stream of air & abrasive particles that polishes away the decayed tooth structure. It is primarily used to treat small cavities and small areas of the teeth. Air Abrasion can often be used without local anesthesia.
  • Dentures: We make partial removable dentures, full dentures, fixed bridges and implants in order to replace missing teeth.
  • Bonded Mercury Free Filling: All of the material used to restore decayed and broken teeth is made of tooth colored resin/composite material. Our office does not use silver fillings.
  • A clean mouth is a happy mouth. Our staff can help you with proper daily care of your teeth, gums and breath. Regular professional cleanings are a great and quick way to dramatically improve your smile. New technologies have made the process even easier and quicker.
  • Preventive Care: Full range of preventative care (cleanings, fluoride & sealants). We use the new Piezo ultrasonic hand piece oscillator instead of the traditional manual scaling and scraping tools of the past.
  • Digital Radiography: We utilize the latest x-ray technology which enables us to view an enhanced, much better image. Much less radiation exposure for the patients is an immense advantage of digital x-rays as well.
  • DIAGNOdent: Laser Cavity Detection: DIAGNOdent is a unique development that will not only reduce your need for x-rays, but it will catch problems before they even get started! The DIAGNOdent is a revolutionary new dental LASER tool that safely and effectively detects changes NOT visible on x-rays. DIAGNOdent allows us to quickly catch what could later be a problem.
  • Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas): Also known as laughing gas, can be used if the patient is anxious about dental treatment. It can make the dental experience more comfortable and there are no lasting effects following your appointment.
  • Sterilization: We only use hospital level sterilization and sanitation procedures. We have invested in your safety and ours with the most high-tech, state-of-the-art sterilization equipment.
  • TMJ/TMD: Often patients experience pain in the jaw area, facial area, general over-all teeth discomfort, shoulder or neck. Or the pain can be a combination of some or all of the above mentioned areas. Grinding and/or clenching of the teeth are some problems associated with TMJ/TMD. Frequently, stress is related to jaw troubles. Mild cases can be remedied by stopping the clenching, avoiding certain hard, chewy foods and no chewing gum. But treatment often requires us to make a type of intra-oral occlusal splint.
  • Sleep Apnea: Sleep Apnea affects over 12 million people. By definition, the word Apnea means "without breath". Patients stop breathing repeatedly during sleep, often 100's of times during the night. This happens for 1 minute at a time or sometimes even longer. There are several treatment options available and diagnostic tests will be performed to help decide the course of action.
  • Therapeutic massage has become an integral part of modern medicine. It has become a tremendously effective tool in a broad array of health issues including TMJ, Oral/Facial pain as well as overall general relaxation. We are pleased to incorporate massage therapy into our dental practice.
